The challenge
The Banco de Guatemala needed a public app that helps people learn and verify every bill and coin in circulation. It had to recognize real bills from a phone camera, instantly, on ordinary devices.
What we built
We built AI bill recognition that identifies Guatemalan bills from the phone camera with 98% accuracy, fast enough to run in real time. We modeled every bill and coin in 3D with Blender, built the app in Flutter, and delivered related work for BDG: Azure AD B2C authentication for a React Native app, a native iOS payment gateway for Banco Banrural, store deployments, and legacy app modernization.
